Washing and moisturizing instructions:
You will start with a light rinse of warm water to remove any dirt or bacteria. Then take a dime size amount of your provided cleanser, use just your fingertips and gently wash your brows. Use light pressure, and rub softly in a smooth outward direction. NO harsh scrubbing or washclothes. Your fingers are enough! Once you have finished, rinse with warm water. Make sure to remove all soap! Now gently dry your brows, you can use clean cotton rounds or a soft cloth. NO scrubbing once again, just a soft pat to dry.
Now to moisturize: Start off by making sure your brows are completely dry. You don’t want to leave them damp or wet when you apply your healing cream, it can trap bacteria and cause uneven healing. Take your provided healing cream and dispense a rice grain amount, you will split this for both brows. Softly apply a thin layer across brows. More is not better in this case, if they look greasy or glossy, you’ve used too much. It should be barely visible on the skin. Too much product will suffocate your brows, and once again, will cause uneven healing!
Aftercare - What to expect:
DAY 1: First 24 hours, leave them be! Through this whole process, avoid touching your brows, other than washing/moisturizing.
DAY 2-7: You will now start to wash and moisturize your brows twice daily! Follow washing and moisturizing instructions provided.
DAY 3 - You will have a slight layer of scab start to develop, this is perfectly normal, keep up with your washing/moisturizing routine.
DAY 4 - Your scabs may start getting itchy and tight, it’s very important that you don’t scratch or pick at them. Keep up with moisturizing. You can moisturize between morning and night if they feel extra itchy and uncomfortable. Make sure to use clean hands and follow your same moisturizing instructions. This can help ease the itchy discomfort.
Day 7 - The scabs may begin to peel off. Again, it's very important not to pick at them. If you need to help with discomfort, you can moisturize, or give your brows gentle pats with a tissue. Be gentle! As the scabs are peeling, you may notice the color lightening up and getting patchy, this is all a part of the process! Your skin is healing over your new brows!
DAY 12 - Your scabs will be mostly gone, now that this has happened, your brows will look very light!
DAY 14 - Brows are safe from water, but still not safe for makeup or skincare yet! The color will begin to darken back to normal every week up to 6 weeks, this is your color resurfacing after the healing process!
DAY 30 - Your brows are healed! You can resume your skincare, makeup, workouts etc. At this point we will have a touch up booked a couple weeks out, and then you’ll repeat this process again!
